“Hey, this is Rob with Jarvis Heat & Air and this is your tip of the day.
Today we’re working on a ductless mini-split system. We’re doing maintenance. These little wall-hung minis, if the blower and the coil start to get dirty on them, they’ll leak, and they’re a smart system, so they’ll actually power themselves down to 50% and won’t cool your home like they’re supposed to.
We bought a little cool trick, a little bag that we’re able to put around the machines and we’re able to clean the coils like they’re supposed to be. Dustin is here, he’s cleaning the coil and the blower. You can see the debris that’s coming down this hose. It’s brown water. The dirt goes into the plastic bag so he can go in and clean the blower and the coil to get it clean like it’s supposed to.
